Barry Nelson Florida Attorney Honors and Speeches HONORS Barry Nelson of Nelson & Nelson, P.A. has been reappointed as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami Law School Graduate Program in Taxation for the spring 2009 semester where he will teach an Estate Planning Workshop. He was also inducted in the 2009 edition of Best Lawyers in America where he has appeared since 1995. SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS Mr. Nelson presented "The Ethical Considerations in Advising Clients on Asset Protection Techniques" at the ACTEC 2008 Summer Meeting in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; "Asset Protection for the Non-asset Protection Specialist" at the 34th Annual Notre Dame Tax and Estate Planning Institute in South Bend, Indiana; and "Estate Tax Updates: Recent Developments" and "Asset Protection and Estate Planning - Why Not Have Both?" at the FICPA Florida Institute on Federal Taxation Conference" in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Mr. Nelson also participated in the Time-Lapse Vision Initiative (TLV) Retreat for the Weizmann Institute of Science held in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Nelson is a Florida Bar Board Certified Attorney in the areas of Taxation and Wills, Trusts and Estates. Barry A.
